My mother is a hairstylist, has been for 40 plus years. She is THE expert on hairspray, and has done her share of "polluting" the ozone. I have been exposed to many a brand of hair products.  I personally don't use hairspray often, unless I'm gonna  wear an "up-do". But when I do, it must help volumize and hold my hairstyle. I was excited to use NYM, I honestly have never heard of this brand until Influenster sent me my Sweetheart Voxbox. 
   The first thing I noticed about She's a tease is that the smell was terrible. Not pleasing, even a little bit. My daughter even held her nose and asked what the smell was. I can get past that, no biggie. I pride myself in being able to create an awesome up-do on my own head, I have long hair, down to the middle of my lower back.  It takes a good bit of hairspray and Bobbie pins to get all my hair up the way I want it. She's a Tease did an excellent job of holding the volume I created with my comb. I have a lot a short whispy hair, so I need the hairspray to hold my hair where I've placed it so I doesn't fall in my face. This product did just ok holding my hair back. I need my hair to hold 6 plus hours and it just didn't hold it like I would prefer. I'm definitely willing to try other products of NYM but I will not be purchasing She's a Tease. I'd really like to try the Beach Babe texturing sea salt spray. Here's a pic of my most recent up-do. Olay Fresh Effects

Olay fresh effects was my favorite item in the Sweetheart Voxbox. I have been looking for a new facial cleanser, and Olay was close to what I've been looking for. I like the shine free cleanser, but I'm looking for something a little more tough on blemishes and breakouts. The smell is fantastic and the color is cool too. I will definitely look into other Olay product that may better fit my need.
   Hands down the best thing is the little scrubber! What an amazing idea! This little gadget actually makes me want to wash face! I leave it by the sink, when I get up in the morning, I feel like it's saying "Good morning! Put on a fresh face!" Not a bad way to start the day!

Secret Clinical Strength Stress Reponse

In my Sweetheart Vox box from Influenster, I received Secrets clinical strength Stress Response deodorant. I am fairly committed to Degree. I've used it for years, it takes care of keeping me feeling fresh, no sweat, no smell. So needless to say I was weary of switching to a new brand.
  The first thing I noticed after using it, was the smell, serene citrus scent.  The fragrance was fantastic! I am used to solid deodorants, so the cream was change up for me. The biggest surprise I had, while using this product was how well it kept me dry and was almost totally invisible. Never once did I see remnants of it on my clothing. A definite plus! Supposedly this product works better when you are stressed. The only time I was super stressed while wearing it was when I locked myself out of my house after everyone had gone to bed. I didn't have my phone or anyway to contact my sleeping husband, other than tapping on the window.... And I wasn't about to do that. Thankfully, my husband had left the spare key in his truck, so I was able to get in without waking anyone. Was I stressed? Absolutely. Was I sweating? No, because it was 30 degrees outside, had it been warmer, I'm sure Secret would have done the job. I did notice times while working out it didn't really seem to block "my smell" entirely. It wasn't repulsive or even gross, it just wasn't handling it like I prefer. So my conclusion is this, I still love Degree and will probably continue buying it as my primary go-to. However for formal occasions, especially with dresses without sleeves, I just may need to get Secret, to hide my previously deodorant stained clothing. Sweetheart VoxBox 2013

So excited to start my journey with Influenster. My childhood friend, had posted a picture from her 2012 Holiday Voxbox. It peaked my interest, seeing all the cool stuff she was getting to test and review. So I signed up. Within 2 weeks, I had already qualified for the 2013 Sweetheart VoxBox. I was so excited, I could hardly wait for it to get here. My children were excited too, seeing a package being dropped off. But they weren't for long realizing there was nothing for them. Nice to have a treat for me once! I opened it right away to find: Secret Deodorant for Stress sweat, Not your Mother's She's a Tease hairspray, Oil of Olay Fresh Effects with little scrubber and a Skinny Girl Daily Bar, pretzel and dark chocolate.
